Community Guidelines

These guidelines cover the live Sunday Sessions and the other live group sessions Chioma runs, plus the questions and messages you send us. They set out what we ask of you, and what happens if someone breaks them.

The short version

These rules cover the live Sunday Sessions, other live group sessions, and anything you send us, like a question or a message. Treat people with respect, keep what others share private, don’t record anyone without their consent, and don’t give each other medical or mental health advice. If someone breaks these rules, Chioma may have a private word with them or remove them from sessions. If that’s you, you can appeal once, in writing, within 14 days.

A summary to help you read what follows. The full text below is what applies.

The covenant

Our live sessions and programs are built for people who intend to do real work and want it handled with care. These guidelines apply to everyone who joins a live Sunday Session or another live group session Chioma runs, sends us a question or message, or takes part in a Forgiveness+ program. We support the free and open exchange of thoughts, ideas, and experiences, and we protect the people sharing them. Taking part means accepting these guidelines.

1. Keeping sessions safe

Strong differences of opinion can get heated, and impassioned, respectful conversation is welcome. Conduct that makes a session unsafe is not. If we decide, at our discretion, that your conduct makes a session unsafe or keeps others from taking part, we may limit or end your participation.

2. Conduct

No targeted harassment of any person, and no encouraging others to do it. No threats, promotion of violence, or harassment based on race, ethnicity, national origin, caste, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, religious affiliation, age, disability, disease, or any other protected characteristic. Bigotry, hate speech, abusiveness, and vulgarity are prohibited, and anyone who violates this section may be removed from live sessions and future cohorts.

3. What you share and send

Do not share, in a session or in anything you send us, content that defames, harasses, stalks, or threatens; that you know to be false or misleading; that is protected by copyright, trademark, trade secret, or right of publicity without permission, since verifying rights rests with you; that contains or advocates sexually explicit material, pedophilia, incest, or bestiality, or is otherwise obscene; that violates any law, instructs in dangerous or illegal acts, or advocates violence; that poses a reasonable threat to personal or public safety; or that is advertising, spam, chain letters, or pyramid schemes.

Do not impersonate anyone, imply that we endorse you, collect information about other participants, interfere with the Site, use it for commercial purposes, or send automated or bulk messages through our forms. Submissions are not entitled to compensation.

4. Illegal and regulated goods

Forgiveness+ may not be used to promote, trade, or engage in counterfeit goods, drugs and controlled substances, human trafficking, products from endangered species, sexual services, gambling, unauthorized multi-level marketing, stolen goods, or weapons, ammunition, explosives, or instructions for making them.

5. Confidentiality covenant

What’s shared in a session stays in the session. You may discuss concepts you learn here. You may never share another participant’s personal story, identifying details, screenshots, or recordings outside the session without their written permission. Don’t record any part of a session, including audio, video, or screenshots, without the consent of everyone in it. Breaking this covenant, including sharing someone’s private information, such as their address, ID numbers, financial details, biometric data, or medical records, results in permanent removal from live sessions and future cohorts. This rule is the foundation of the safety we promise everyone who takes part.

6. Peer support boundaries

Peer support is welcome. Armchair diagnosis is not. Participants may not diagnose, treat, or prescribe for one another. If you or another participant expresses intent to self-harm or to harm others, the session facilitator will respond with care and point them to emergency help: 911, the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, and the Crisis Text Line at HOME to 741741. We’re a group of peers, not a crisis service. If you’re in crisis, don’t wait for a session. Call or text 988, or call 911.

7. No selling or recruiting

No unsolicited marketing, affiliate links, or sales pitches for outside services, and no recruiting people into other programs or businesses, in live sessions or in messages to other participants. Official collaborations go through the contact form at forgiveness.plus/contact.

8. If a guideline is broken

Report a concern through the contact form at forgiveness.plus/contact. Here’s what happens: you report it, we review it, we act if needed, and the person affected can appeal.

Depending on what happened, Chioma may start with a private word, ask someone to leave a session, or remove them from future sessions and cohorts. We look into reports promptly, tell the affected person the reason for any removal, and allow one written appeal, reviewed by a person, through the contact form at forgiveness.plus/contact within 14 days. We may end a person’s participation in live sessions at our sole discretion for any violation.

9. Fair use of materials

Program materials, digital downloads, microclasses, and exclusive content are for your personal use. Redistribution, resale, and unauthorized sharing are prohibited and punishable by law. See the Digital Product License Agreement.
